Takeshi: Well, I felt so happy to appear in this film. Well, I'm pleased to meet you all.
Reporter: I'd like to hear if you had to pay any attention when you play the role that the relation of two persons keeps changing.
Takeshi: Regarding each scene as a piece of work, I asked Director for his opinion on the spot, or asked him to play the role once by himself, I referred to his play and then I did... yes.
Reporter: If you had anything especially hard, could you let me know?
Takeshi: (After Andy Lau replied that he concentrated his attention on acting successfully because he previously trained for the fighting scenes for three months:) Well, I had something hard. (Laughs) It was hard when the actors fought with each other, because one's action really hit the other. It happened often, I also hurt the other, so I always said to the Director: “why don't you decide that the actors will not have to fight with each other if possible.” (Laughs) And he also worried that my anxiety would influence my performance, so he agreed and we played in this way when possible in the latter half.
